Schools in Maharashtra Open After 18 Months
The Maharashtra government announced the reopening of schools across the State from today for better teaching and learning activities. The Education Minister said that schools will open for students of Classes 5 to 12 in the rural areas and Classes 8 to 12 in the urban areas. The Government has urged the education bodies, health departments and local administration for effective coordination to maintain smooth education. The Maharashtra State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) will prepare action plans and help officials overcome the hurdles for resuming physical classes.
