West Bengal Extends COVID Restrictions for Another 15 Days
The Government of West Bengal on Monday announced further lockdown-like restrictions for 15 days, starting from July 1 to July 15. However, in this case, Government and Private buses can ply on the road with 50% capacity and hair salons, gyms and beauty parlours can continue with 50% occupation. All markets and bazaars can do business between 6 AM to 12 Noon and other shops can remain open from 11 AM to 8 PM. The state logged 1836 new Covid cases and 2022 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
